Letter from Recruitment Chair
Hi! My name is Jenna Sanders and I am the Vice President of Recruitment for Delta Gamma at Oregon State.
Recruitment is just around the corner and I can’t wait to see all of the smiling faces that will come through the doors of Beta Upsilon! Having been through multiple recruitments I have one piece of advice. Be your TRUE and AUTHENTIC self! It is easy to get caught up in the craziness of recruitment, but remember what you are searching for and you will find the right sorority for you! Everyone has different recruitment experiences so don’t worry about what others are doing. At the end of the day, all that matters is that YOU are happy with your experience, so make the most of it! For many of you choosing the right sorority will be easy. Choosing Delta Gamma was the best choice for me and I couldn’t be happier!
My Delta Gamma experience here at Oregon State has been different than most would expect. I didn’t join the Beta Upsilon chapter until the end of my sophomore year when I transferred from San Diego State University. I was first initiated into the Epsilon Sigma chapter in San Diego, but after realizing Corvallis was my true home I made the tough decision to transfer. I was so nervous about going to a new college so late in my sophomore year but all of that changed the moment I walked through the doors of Beta Upsilon! Every girl was so welcoming and down to earth. I knew I had made the best decision for myself moving into the Delta Gamma house because it gave me the opportunity to meet so many girls in the chapter! I quickly fell in love with Delta Gamma all over again. Now being a senior and looking back on my years of being a member of Delta Gamma, I can truly say I found my sisters for life.
If you know of a young woman you would like to recommend or you are interested in learning more about Delta Gamma, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you, I can't wait to meet you all!
